- What equipment is included in the "Ski hire pack"  ?
At Equilibres Arc 2000, the pack includes:
- Skis
- Ski boots
- Ski poles

Other accesories such as ski helmet, goggles, hats/scarves, gloves, socks, sunscreen, are not included in the "ski pack. " Ski helmets are available to rent and other accesories such as sunglasses, gloves, scarves, hats, socks, sunblock, etc, are available to buy at the shop.



- What quality of equipment can I expect ?
Equilibres Arc 2000 select their equipment, each year, using the best brands on the market. Our equipment (skis, snowboard,...) is replaced every 3 years max.
For example, the "Prestige"  equipment is replaced every year. The "Performence" equipement is replaced about every 2 years and the material from the "Evolution" category is replaced every 3 years.
This year, the equipment from the "Evolution" category has been replaced so eveything is brand new.

- Is it possible to hire only skis or a snowboard ?
Yes! At Equilibres Arc 2000, we have a wide variety of skis and snowboards to suit all abilities. 

Whatever your requirements, come and see us, we are likely to have a solution.

- Can I buy the rental equipment (skis, snowboard, helmet, etc...) at the end of my stay ?
Yes you can. If you think you might want to buy please let us know after 2 days, as if you decide to buy you will receive these 2 days ski hire free of charge.

- What kind of payment do you accept?
At Equilibres Arc 2000, you can pay with a variety of cqrds (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro), and cash (Euros). For ski or snowboard hire, you can also pay with "Chèques Vacances".

- Do you hire snowshoes ?
We do have a fewpairs of snowshoes for hire but depending on your ability we may send you to the Arc 2000 ESF (French Ski School), who can offer you a full package such as snowshoes and guide.

- Do you rent sledges ?
Yes! For kids and for adults - they are available for hire for a half day, full day, or anything up to a week.


- My ski boots are hurting my feet, what can I do ?
If you have hired your ski boots at Equilibres Arc 2000, just come back and you can try another pair.  For each size, we have up to 7 different types and shapes of boots, so we are sure to find you the perfect fit. We can fit children in sizes 24 to 41 and adults in sizes 34 to 50.

- I do have my own boots, but they hurt my feet: can you help ?
Yes, we are experienced boot fitters and can alter various things on your boots to improve comfort.  We can make changes to the inner boot, the plastic exterior and/or on the heel. At Equilibres Arc 2000, we have our own workshop and we can personalize your ski boots for a better ski experience.

- How do you select my skis?
When you rent ski equipment at Equilibres Arc 2000, we take time to select a pair of skis that will suit you. We consider your skiing abilityl, the type of skiing you like to do, in addition to your height and weight. Those are just a few of the factors that will help us to choose the perfect ski for you.

- My skis are getting slow and don't edge properly... what can I do ?
Come to the shop! At Equilibres Arc 2000, we have our own workshop and we service your skis by hand. Our team of technicians are very experienced and highly regarded, your kit will be in good hands! Edging, waxing or a full service, we can do whatever you need. Even if you have broken a strap, need your skis adjusted or need some advice, pop in and ask us, we're happy to help.  At, Equilibres Arc 2000, the waxing is done in a traditional way, so your skis are better suited to the the snow temperature of the Arc 2000 resort.

-Can you add specific bindings on my skis?
At, Equilibres Arc 2000, we can add your own bindings on your skis, even if it's a complicated setting (e.g cross-country skis).

-Even if I don't hire my ski gear from Equilibres Arc 2000, can you still repair or service my own skis/snowboard?
Yes, that's why we have a workshop. Never hesitate to come and see us, we'll almost certainly find a solution.

- Can I leave my hire skis in the shop when I'm not using them?

Yes, if you hire your skis or snowboard from us it's free. If you want to leave your own skis or snowboard we charge 7 euros per week.

- How do I get to Les Arcs 2000 or Les Arcs 1950 from Geneva airport?

It's easy! If you are looking for a transfer from Geneva airport to Les Arcs there are a number of companies who offer this service. Try Mountain Dropoffs or Coolbus.  If you prefer to take the bus from Geneva to Les Arcs, you take the bus to Bourg Saint Maurice, then take the funiculaire to Les Arcs 1600.  The funiculaire runs every 20 minutes and connects with free ski buses which will to take you on the final leg of your journey to Les Arcs 1800, Les Arcs 1950, or Les Arcs 2000.  We are situated in the resort of Arc 2000, but we are also easily accessible from Arc 1950.  If you would like to see the Les Arcs bus timetable click here.

- How do I get my Les Arcs or Paradiski lift pass, is there an office nearby?

Yes, the Les Arcs 2000 lifti pass office is opposite our shop, so you can easily get your ski pass and your ski hire in the same place, and be ready to hit the slopes without wasting any time.
